By bus we will show you how large the provincial capital Colonia was,
how much larger Mediaeval Cologne was, and finally, how the city
has spread out since the end ofthe 19th century. On this tour we will
show you sights from all epochs and explain them to you. You will
get an idea of how and on what people base their existence in the
city with over a million inhabitants when we pass the WDR, the
exhibition centre, 4711 headquarters, industrial companies and
department stores. From the banks ofthe Rhine in the borough of
Deutz, you can enjoy the view of Cologne’s Old Town with the
Rheingarten garden in front ofthe Museum Ludwig complex and the
majestic Cathedral - one of the world's most attractive city
panoramas.
On foot, explore with us the area around the Cologne Cathedral and
the Old Tow in the afternoon. A great many sights are concentrated
within one square kilometre ofthe Cathedral, Town Hall and the Old
Town with the Romanesque church of Groii St. Martin. You can take a
look at the Roman Dionysos Mosaic and the Jewish ritual bath, the
Mikveh. In the narrow, cobble-stoned alleys ofthe Old Town and on
the busy squares like the Roncalliplatz, the Alter Markt or the
Heumarkt, you will get a feeling for life in the cathedral city, yesterday
and today. You will see and hear what the people of Cologne and their
visitors like to laugh about- not only during Cologne's famous
Carnival.

Enjoy a Boat cruise in the morning. Discover from the ship the picturesque Cologne panorama with the old town and new Rheinau
Marina with the “crane buildings". On board we have a commentary on all interesting sights and love to
pamper you with our inexpensive ship's cuisine.
In the afernoon free time for shopping and sightseeing by your own.
