Day 1

Lima

Upon arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the selected hotel and overnight.
Day 2

Lima

Breakfast at Hotel.
After picking up passengers at their hotel (in regular service), we will be starting our gastronomic adventure in a typical "Lima market". In this area you can see a variety of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits like cherimoya, “lúcuma” or Egg fruit, Pacay and “Aguaymanto” or Peruvian ground-berries. Be amazed by the wide variety of the fruits of our sea, considered one of the richest in the world. We will also visit an exclusive Peruvian restaurant, where you can prepare your own "Pisco Sour" and the famous "Ceviche". Then you will enjoy a delicious lunch that include the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
Day 3

Lima

Breakfast at Hotel.
Lima was founded by Francisco Pizarro and the Spaniards in 1535. It became the center of the Spanish Vice royalty in South America for three centuries because of its strategic location. The tour to Lima city begins with the historic downtown that was recently declared by UNESCO as a "World Heritage Site" because of its numerous architectural buildings. This represents the strong European Middle Age influence. Important buildings to visit are the Government Palace or “Casa de Pizarro”, the Municipal Palace, Lima’s Cathedral, San Francisco church and convent with valuable works of art and stone and wooden structures and balconies of colonial houses. The tour ends with a visit to the modern suburbs of San Isidro, and Miraflores. San Isidro has modern apartment buildings and beautiful parks such as El Olivar with olive's trees brought from Spain in the 16th century. Miraflores with its Central Park and Larcomar Shopping Center that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Day 4

Lima - Cusco

After an early breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the airport at a scheduled time to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
At the scheduled time, there is a guided city tour to visit: the Cathedral, very important for its architecture and collection of canvases from the “Escuela Cusqueña” (Academy of Cusco); the Temple of the Sun or “Koricancha”, used as a foundation of Santo Domingo Monastery and classical example of the fusion of Inca and Western cultures and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel.
Day 5

Cusco - Machu Picchu

After an early breakfast, starts a full day excursion to visit Machu Picchu the most important archaeological site in Peru. The citadel is located 113 Km (70 miles northwest of Cusco.) The tour starts with an early transfer to the railway station for the morning train ride to Aguas Calientes that takes about three-and-a-half hours. Then, continues with a 20 minute bus ride up to the archaeological site for a guided tour. Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911, Machu Picchu is considered an absolute masterpiece of architecture and a unique testimony of the Inca civilization. After the visit, return to the village of Aguas Calientes where lunch is provided. At the scheduled time, return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6

Cusco

After breakfast, a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return flight to home.
