Day 3
Postdam
Sanssouci Palace became the favorite refuge ofthe great Prussian
king Frederick ll. Don't miss the chance to take part in a guided
historic excursion by coach to the former residence ofthe Prussian
rulers. BEX Sightseeing is the only Berlin city tour company able to
offer a guaranteed tour of Sanssouci Palace incl. a walk through
Sanssouci Park. The Brandenburg state capital Potsdam, situated on
the River Havel on the southwestern outskirts of Berlin, has always
attracted all visitors under its spell because of many marvelous
palaces ofthe Prussian rulers and other numerous architectural
treasures in the old town. But visitors primarily come to Potsdam
because ofthe legendary Sanssouci Palace of Frederick II.
After a drive of about 30 minutes you will meet your local Potsdam
guide at the Glienicke Bridge to take you through the city center of
Potsdam. You will be able to admire the most important sights such
as the Dutch Quarter and the Russian Colony Alexandrowka. The
highlight of the tour is the visit to Sanssouci Palace. Your guide will
also take you through the beautiful interiors, of course. In the
summer months you will have the chance for a short walk through
Sanssouci Park. You will return to Berlin after the palace visit. The
excursion ends at the Kurfurstendamm after about four hours.
Enjoy at the evening a typical Berliner 3-course-menue in a local
restaurant.
Day 4
Boat cruise Bridget - Trip
Berlin's waterways offer the unique possibility to discover the inner city with its sights from the water. The
city round trip lasts about 3,5 hours and covers a stretch ofabout 23 km. Not only does this trip lead you to
the historic and modern buildings ofthe metropolis Berlin, but also to the green riverbanks, the densely
populated and industrial areas and the elevated railway. Hear interesting facts about the ancient and recent
history of Berlin and enjoy listening to the peculiarities ofthe different districts, which are being travelled
through: Mitte, Moabit, Tiergarten, Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg, Neukolln and Friedrichshain. Our waterways
are the river Spree and Landwehrkanal. Experience Berlin's legendary abundance of bridges - we will bring
you to 63 ofthem. It is said that there are more bridges in Berlin than in Venice!

Enjoy the day with sightseeing by your own, shopping or relaxing at the hotel etc.
Day 6
Spreewald Forest
The Spreewald Forest lies in the Lower Lausitz region south of Berlin and is characterized by a meandering
labyrinth of waterways and tributaries ofthe River Spree. Even today these waterways are often the only
connection from one farm orfield or neighboring village to the other. Sorbs and Wends been living in the
Spreewald Forest since the Slavic settlement in the 6th century. They have preserved their language and
their cultural identity until today.
Traditional punting tour
Enjoy a comfortable coach trip with BEX Sightseeing to Burg in the Spreewald Forest. Taste pickles, bread
and lard upon your arrival at the port of Waldschlosschen. Afterwards admire the special charm ofthis
unique biosphere reserve on a traditional punting tour during which you will be punted on a traditional boat
