Drive to Samburu National Reserve; into Samburu Serena Lodge.The Lodge is situated inside the reserve which gives an opportunity to see an abundance of wildlife and birdlife which has much to do with the “River of Brown Water” (Uaso Nyiro in the Samburu language), fed by rains in the far-off Aberdare ranges. Acacia trees, doum palms and mswaki (the toothbrush tree) provide a balanced habitat for the vast variety of game.

A second day in Samburu National Park.
Here you will have an opportunity to see the famous big five and others; like the long Necked gerenuk, Antelope, Somali Ostrich, Grevy’s Zebra, Majestic Beisa Oryx and the Savanna elephants. The Camp offers modern luxury tents with a private view over the river banks rich with wildlife.

Drive across and down into the Great Rift Valley, Here you will visit Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for the millions of pink flamingos that wade in the shallow shores together with multitudes of pelicans and a wide variety of other birds. You will get a chance to see both the black and white rhino, the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe, Waterbuck, Rock Hyrax, a Euphorbia forest and many plains game

After an early breakfast, you will drive across to the Mara Serena Lodge which is a masterful interpretation of a Maasai village. This is where you can often see the crossings of the Wildebeests and Zebra, and in December,
the stragglers may still be there heading back to the Serengeti in Tanzania.
